26th of January | Expirat Club | 22.00 hours | Ticket 20 lei | Facebook RSVP

Beginning with 26th of January we are starting a monthly night in Expirat Club. With this night we aim to invite artists who plays a distinctive sound, promoting both the music and the culture that comes with it. Our focus is not on the music genre but on the sound quality.
We begin our first night with Ruffhouse, a true representative for the half step of drum and bass.

+ + Ruffhouse is a collective of Djs and producers based in Bristol. Pessimist, Vega and Cooper decided to join forces at the start of 2012 and have since been gaining support from some of the major players in the drum and bass scene, including Loxy, dBridge, Doc Scott and Skeptical. With a distinct and recognizable sound, Ruffhouse are bridging the gap between the modern and the old, the deep and the dark.
The lads first met at Vega’s bi-monthly event Abstractions in Bristol, quickly realizing their shared passion for similar styles of music. From there, collaborations and experimenting in the studio has led to the development of what we now know as Ruffhouse.
"Basically we had all been toying with the idea of starting a production crew as we are all influenced drum and bass wise by people like The Horsemen (Loxy, Keaton, Dylan & Ink), Bad Company and Vicious Circle. The thing we liked about those guys was the whole unity and crew vibe that they all had."
2016 is the year Ruffhouse and Gremlinz are launching UVB-76 label.
