Black Rhino has teamed up with Outlook Festival to launch the Black Rhino x Outlook Festival DJ Competition.
Outlook Festival is one of the leading bass music festivals in Europe. With strong roots in sound system culture, the festival’s selection of artists and sound systems is outstanding. We have also made a partnership with Mixcloud so that all entries are hosted on the platform special competition page.

The Brief:
We are asking Romanian DJs and Selectors to create a mix of 45-60 minutes around genres like Reggae, Dub, Dubstep, Drum and Bass or Jungle. We’re not focused on your capacity as a DJ – the most important factor will be track selection and the overall atmosphere of your mix.
Be as creative as you can, use old tracks, dubplates or future releases. We are looking for original mixes crafted with a passion for bass music culture.

First prize:
60 minutes set time at one of Outlook Festival stages
100 euros fee on behalf of Outlook Festival.
