Words about Presha:
Internet, radio, and nightclub DJ, event promoter, distributor, record label owner and artist mentor, Geoff Wright aka Presha's list of accomplishments and roles within the music industry is immense. Even more impressive is that he has been a forerunner in each of these disciplines, firmly entrenching himself within the sonic architecture of electronic music culture worldwide. Through his Samurai Music, Red Seal & Horo record labels, his many radio shows over the years, club sets, & events promotion companies, Presha served as a guiding hand in the growth and development of the New Zealand scene and assisted heavily in establishing the international export of artists such as Tokyo Prose, Fis, State of Mind, Trei, and Dose amongst others. 2011 saw an indefinite relocation to Europe, a move essential to the expansion and longevity of both the Samurai Music labels and his devotion to the art of DJing. From his adopted home in Berlin, Presha made 2012-2017 the busiest years to date for the Samurai Music group of labels with high profile releases from the artist stable including Calibre, Marcus Intalex, Dub Phizix & Skeptical, Loxy & Resound, ENA, ASC, Tokyo Prose, Ruffhouse, Clarity and many more.
Words about The Untouchables:
Based in Belgium, The Untouchables is a collective that started at the dawn of the new Millenium. A colaboration of Kay & Nitrox based in Belgium, they used to run under the name of Stone Warriors until 2007 when the Untouchables were born!
The Untouchables signature and style is: heavy, black, percussive energy, old school influence. They have released on labels such as: Samurai, Cylon, CX Digital, Hardware, Translation, 45seven, Alphacut & many others.
Words about Clarity:
Bristol-based Owen Brown aka Clarity has rapidly become one of the names to watch in the current Drum and Bass scene. Having stumbled upon drum n bass music at the age of 14, within two years Clarity managed to write music that was immediately supported by top names like dBridge, Doc Scott, Loxy, Jubei, Skeptical and Grooverider. Inevitable signings to respected labels followed swiftly with imprints such as Med School, Samurai Music, Cylon, Horizons, and dBridges' mighty Exit Records label stepping up to launch the Clarity name and sound proudly to the world.
Words about Low Freq:
Based in Bucharest, Codin Oraseanu aka Low Freq is present on the music scene for over 15 years. Music producer, Dj and promoter, Low Freq combines elements of bass music with strong industrial synths, continuously searching to explore the sound. Along the time Low Freq played in groups such as Blanoz and Shadowbox, and since 2014 he started the band Dream Diggers. Alongside Dani, Low Freq is also operator for Irie Warriors Soundsystem. 2017 is the year Codin Oraseanu formed Black Rhino.
Words about Fane:
Fane is a DJ, music producers and promoter of the atmospheric and militant style of half step drum and bass. With a strong passion for the dance floor, Fane's productions are oriented through punchy drums and heavy bass lines. Former co-host off StepIn Session at Radio Grrove On, Fane launched the Nu doar bass online platform where he presents a series of guest mixes around #170 tempo. In 2017 Fane joins Low Freq for the Black Rhino project.
