Black Rhino Radio is happy to present the pitch-black live show of Autechre for the first time in Romania. The duo touches down in Bucharest at Club Guesthouse on October 7, 2026.

We closes the year with a big lineup bringing the renown duo Indica Dubs and Danman, the bass music producer Bukkha, and local headz Anin & Drao on December 27.

With a hidden lineup for now, Black Rhino Radio pins the date on November 19 for its upcoming residency in Club Control, but you can rest assured the music will follow the journey into sound system culture.

Black Rhino Radio moves forward with the second residency at Club Control on October 18, this time inviting Kebra Ethiopia all the way from South Africa.

On September 27, we bring back to Bucharest the renowned Channel One Sound System, one of the UK's most prestigious roots and dub sounds.

As the new club season starts, we are hyped to announce our forthcoming residencies at Club Control. While these sessions are rooted in dub and bass music, we continue to collaborate with our friends from Riddim Bandits, who will amplify each session with their fresh, upgraded 6-scoop sound system, built to emphasise low frequencies while bringing clarity and spark to the mids and highs.

The 18th instalment of Black Rhino Residency at Control comes in full force on April 19, mixing the sound pressure of dub with the uptempo energy of jungle music.

As we move on to our residencies at Control, we are happy to announce that Aba Shanti will join our curated events on March 8, 2025, marking his first session in Bucharest.

On May 10 2025, Black Rhino Radio celebrates its 4-year anniversary, and the party comes in great style and fashion. The first artists to be announced is the French dub master O.B.F with the Spanish MC Sr. Willson.

We enter the new year in style as we announce Mala who's joining the first Black Rhino Residency at Control on February 22, 2025.

For the last residency of this year at Control, we return to the sound system culture and invites Numa Crew (IT) and the mighty Mc Killa P (UK) to headline the night. The booking follows the fresh album of the two - Killing Time, released this year on November 15.

For the 14th instalment of Black Rhino Residency in Control, we change the tempo and we dig into the synths and electronica realm, by inviting the legendary Legowelt [NL] to headline the night in Room 1 of the club.

The collective album is a musical journey and a testament to community spirit, an invitation to explore the urban space while immersing into music

We open the new season of our residence series at Control Club with a bass music line-up that brings forth one of the power figures in the industry - Sicaria, seconded by local DJs and radio broadcasters noidzsh and shiv.

We are looking to extend our team and welcome a new member as a Social Media Manager. You will be responsible for creating and scheduling social content that reflects Black Rhino Radio’s values and aesthetics. The Social Media Manager plays an important role in developing and amplifying the Black Rhino Radio community across all platforms.

Experiments in Dub ends the summer at Platforma Wolff with its last session on the terrace by inviting the dub producer, DJ and bass music general, Radikal Guru, along with the local fellow radio broadcasters Maică-ta and Riddim Bandits Crew.

With summer already here, Experiments in Dub continues its journey of dub experiments and explorations at Platforma Wolff on Fri. July 14th for session #3, establishing a connection with the French scene and inviting Weeding Dub with a live mixing set.

We meet again at Control Club for a special edition of Black Rhino Residency! Mixing oldschool and contemporary, local and across the borders, this genre-bending summer session brings in the booth Djrum, Vlad DobrecuMeelouna. One of the most exciting producers to come out of UK electronic scene in recent years, Djrum boasts pure production talent, informed by club styles such as techno, garage, and jungle, as well as his background in jazz and classical music. Serving complementary styles for a dancefloor-ready night, local support comes from veteran Vlad Dobrescu and disco darling Meelouna.

With Summer in sight, Experiments in Dub returns to Platforma Wolff on Saturday, May 20th, for session #2. This time we are connecting with the Italian scene and inviting Turin-based sound system operators Babe Roots accompanied by MC Galas. The session occurs outdoors, with local support from Dubik and Low Freq.

Time for the monthly rendez-vous, Black Rhino Radio Residency at Club Control, kicking it this time amongst a ladies-only lineup: Darwin, Alexandra & Ana Satana. It’s set to be a proper rave, as Canadian-born & Berlin-based Darwin brings her signature style of bleeding edge UK sound system music to the table. She is the founder of the 24-hour rave series REEF & label owner at SPE:C. Sharing decks with Darwin are local darlings & fellow radio broadcasters Alexandra & Ana Satana, going through their plentiful bags of genre-bending sonic treasures.
