Alma Buhagiar:
Alma Buhagiar was born in Bucharest, Romania. She studied film directing at the National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale", in Bucharest. In 2021 she won Gopo Young Hope Award for her short film 'Together'. Her student films were shown at various film festivals, like Transilvania International Film Festival, Anonimul Independent Film Festival, Bucharest Fashion Film Festival, and won awards such as "Best Film" at CinemaIubit Film Festival in 2020 and "Cinematographic Hope Award", at The Romanian Filmmakers Union Ceremony, in 2020. She went to "Let's go Digital" film workshop, at Transilvania International Film Festival, and exhibited video-installations at events such as The Night of the Galleries and Super International Youth Art & Film Festival.
