The early 2000s saw Grym as one the premier drum & bass DJs in the Seattle circuit.
In 2004, Onset was born- a weekly DNB night establishing a staple in the Seattle underground. Running strong for almost 2 decades, Onset became an internationally renowned night and a required stop for international DNB talent. It was also the home base from which Grym showcased his darkside sound. Rinsing everything from dance floor to experimental, Grym became one of Seattle's most sought after figures in the bass community.
Forging strong alliances and playing host to some of the most talented producers in the world, a label was formed as an outlet to the influx of unreleased music at his disposal. The Onset Audio imprint has developed into a successful digital label featuring some of the best international talent in the genre.
