Affectionately known locally as “The Quaddie”, Quadrant Park was the home of acid house in Liverpool in the 1980s and 90s. Using a clever legal wrangle, the Quaddie was the UK’s only legal all-night rave venue – which meant that coaches full of revellers would arrive from all over the country every Saturday night. Although the club closed on New Years Eve 1991, occasional reunion nights have been held to recreate those heady days.
