Starting as a promoter of bass music in Cluj, ZO quickly became a versatile DJ, combining different genres of bass music in his sets. From low dubs to fast drum and bass, ZO creates a story with each mix. He put together a jungle music set for this episode of his monthly Subzone show, promoting our Saturday event in Club Control. 

We asked Zo: What is the reason you would book a jungle artist instead of another type of act?

 ZO: I like to book jungle music acts because of the specific energy this type of music has. This energy is nearly impossible to find in any other genre. The artists and the public come together at a liberating frequency. So rooted in the rave and protest culture, jungle music is about freedom and acceptance at a fast tempo.
