D-Operation Drop is a project born in 2010 thanks to the encounter of 5 university students which found themselves sharing the same house and more importantly, love for music. After a couple of early collaborations, almost casual, Uniradio Cesena gives to D-Operation Drop the chance to lay the foundations of an underground music program on air twice a week. Thanks to this experience the group officially finds its frame and looks forward to its new goals such as producing, dj'ing and vj'ing.

Up to this date, D-Operation Drop has received support from artists like J:Kenzo, Distance, N-Type, Icicle & many others.

Black Rhino Mix 006: Rax

Black Rhino Music - Oct 30, 2019

Everything started for Rax in '08 when he just discovered the 140 music by listening to podcasts, mixes and going out to bass-music nights in Bucharest. It was still a blurry picture of the bass music scene, until he went to Outlook Festival. The atmosphere, the artists and sound systems got him thinking in a more realistic and serious way about the dubstep scene and bass music in general.

Driftmachine plays Marien van Oers

Black Rhino Music - Oct 24, 2019

Released by the Netherlander label Ongehoord, "Driftmachine plays Marien van Oers" album playfully circles around the notion of trance-inducing repetition, following Marien van Oers's (1955-2013) concept presented in 1983: "The basic idea of the performance is experiencing a constant repetition of sound (=rhythm), which can result in the spectator taking action through movement or getting into a form of trance".
