Headland and System Music probably need no introduction at this point in dubstep music.

Having had a very prolific 2018 with vinyl releases on Subtle Recordings, Well Rounded Dubs, Unity Though Sounds, ZamZam and another release on System, this will be his 2nd release this year after the very well received The Judge EP on Innamind Records.

The EP will be released tonight at 19:00 UK time as the 29th installment of the System label. This will be one of the special releases of System Music as the EP is a double vinyl.

Black Rhino Mix 006: Rax

Black Rhino Music - Oct 30, 2019

It was still a blurry picture of the bass music scene, until he went to Outlook Festival. The atmosphere, the artists and sound systems got him thinking in a more realistic and serious way about the dubstep scene and bass music in general.

Driftmachine plays Marien van Oers

Black Rhino Music - Oct 24, 2019

Released by the Netherlander label Ongehoord, "Driftmachine plays Marien van Oers" album playfully circles around the notion of trance-inducing repetition, following Marien van Oers's (1955-2013) concept presented in 1983: "The basic idea of the performance is experiencing a constant repetition of sound (=rhythm), which can result in the spectator taking action through movement or getting into a form of trance".
