Victor Gavrilă is lead singer, guitarist and lyricist for the band Getchoo. He is 20 years old and studies English at Bucharest's Faculty of Foreign Languages. He's been writing lyrics since he was 16, playing guitar since he was 12 and singing since he was a baby. He started Getchoo as a solo project by recording songs in his living room, hoping to prove himself as a musician as he turned 19. Having low expectations for its reach, upon the "Songs From The Living Room" EP's release in January 2023 he was surprised to be reached out to by underground musicians saying they were impressed by his music.
Bucur Simu plays guitar and sings backing vocals in Getchoo. He is 19 years old and a student at Politehnica University of Bucharest. He's been playing instruments since 14 and he's "still learning". He's also a member of another local project, experimental punk band Taxawal, for which he play drums and sometimes provides vocals simulatenously.
