Diva Sativa is a Barcelona-based vinyl collector and selectress, deeply rooted in sound system culture. For more than a decade she has been digging and building a personal collection of roots, dub and steppa, music that carries messages of unity, resistance, and spiritual awareness.
Her vision is about freedom, equal rights, and justice, something that resonates in her strictly vinyl sessions, a transmission of energies and vibes that guide listeners into the deepest riddims and connected dance. Along her journey she has played at national and international events, sharing decks alongside respected artists such as Dubkasm, Word Sound and Power, Alligator Dubs, Natty Frontline, Everest Dub, Toroki, and many others.
She is the creator of Waves of Dub: Rooftop Sessions, a live-stream series that started by simply playing a few records with friends on a terrace. What began as a small gathering naturally grew into a platform connecting listeners across different places and time zones, keeping the spirit of roots and dub culture alive with open-air sessions, joyful selections, and music shared from the heart.
Diva Sativa also hosts Waves of Dub on Black Rhino Radio, a monthly radio show exploring the global dub landscape through conscious sound, celebrating diversity and promoting peace through roots and culture.
