Athens-based sound artist, producer and storyteller Apu Nanu draws inspiration from post-internet aesthetics, microtonality, neoclassical themes, and video game nostalgia, blending these influences with playful MIDI manipulation and collage-like sound design. Trained in both Eastern and Western music traditions, they are a multi-instrumentalist interested in exploring new approaches to digital composition.
In 2024, they released their debut EP The Untold Saga via Polish label BFF Music -a cinematic soundtrack to an imagined game space. Their collaborations include work with artists such as Galen Tipton, Julek Ploski and Oliver Torr, while their music has been choreographed by Zoi Tatopoulos and featured by brands like Valentino. Their work extends to compositions for performances and art installations presented at venues like the Benaki Museum and the Gerrit Rietveld Academie.
