Marka San is a Ljubljana-based producer and DJ who is a versatile architect of 160 BPM bass music. Initially recognized as one-half of the duo DubDiggerz, he launched his solo project in late 2020 to explore a "genre-bending" of Footwork, Juke, Grime, and Jungle. A focus on vocal chops and complexity of the Chicago footwork tradition. Merging the low-end weight of dubstep with the rapid-fire syncopation of juke.
Aside from self-releases, his work appeared on the SonaraDestroy V/A vinyl compilation, DNO & more .
He serves as a curator for the footwork and bass community through bi-monthly residencies on Noods Radio and Radio Student, where he frequently showcases new developments in the 160 BPM spectrum.
