I've started Gospel Overdose as an exploration of African American Gospel and as a way to bring spiritually in my everyday life, in the form of a joyful soundtrack. This exploration has lead me back to the soundtrack of my youth, the music that got me here in the first place.
So, I've got them both in, in equal measures, the sacred and the obscene, the gospel and the overdose, as I still find joy in both.
It's the Sunday Service that I would love to attend , from hip-hop to early blues and roots, from Golden Age Gospel to psychedelic, punk, funk and disco. Music has always been a way for me to deal with depression, anxiety, loneliness and sorrow, so this is my way of delivering some good news.
